Michael Zackary
Michael Zackary founded Bright Help with a singular mission: to bring real relief to struggling families by connecting them with local, state, and federal assistance programs they often didn’t know existed. What started as a deeply personal calling has grown into a nationally recognized platform of support for disadvantaged homeowners across the country. Driven by a passion to level the playing field for underserved communities, Michael created the NPPA Program — an innovative initiative that helps families reduce utility costs, transition to greener energy, and protect their financial future, all without taking on debt or liens. Under Michael’s leadership, Bright Help has become a trusted partner to community organizations, municipalities, and energy providers, delivering life-changing savings to thousands of homeowners. But for Michael, it’s always been about more than numbers — it’s about restoring hope to families who feel forgotten. Before founding Bright Help, Michael spent over a decade working with nonprofits and advocacy groups focused on housing equity and energy accessibility. These experiences shaped his belief that true change happens when assistance is accessible, dignified, and community-driven. Michael remains deeply involved in every aspect of Bright Help’s work, from program development to outreach strategy. His life’s work is helping families stay in their homes, reduce their monthly burdens, and participate in the clean energy transition — not just as consumers, but as beneficiaries.
